Provides direct, hands-on care to patients in various settings within healthcare. Tasked with assisting in the direct daily care of patients  associated with every aspect of a patient’s day to day living needs.

Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file. Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing. Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication. Update patient records in a confidential manner.

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Duties include communicating with Doctors and other Registered Nurses about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid their patients’ health and using medical equipment to monitor patients’ vital signs.
